Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

At TryOnSmart, we want you to be completely satisfied with our AI-powered fashion photography service. This policy explains our approach to refunds and cancellations for all subscription plans.

Try Before You Buy: We offer a Free tier with 20 AI images so you can test our service before committing to a paid plan. We encourage all users to try the free tier first to ensure our service meets their needs.

2. Our Subscription Plans

All paid plans are billed monthly. See our Pricing page for full details.

3. Free Tier

The Free tier allows you to:

  • Create up to 5 products
  • Generate up to 20 AI images
  • Test our AI models, poses, and backgrounds
  • Experience the full platform functionality

No payment information is required. No refund applies as no payment is made.

4. Refund Policy for Paid Plans

4.1 General Policy

Paid subscriptions are non-refundable once services have been used.

Because we offer a comprehensive Free tier, users have the opportunity to fully evaluate our service before purchasing. Therefore:

  • We do not offer refunds for used subscription services
  • Monthly allocations (products, AI images, regenerations) are non-refundable once any portion is used
  • Unused resources roll over to the next billing period

4.2 Exceptions

We may provide refunds in the following circumstances:

  • Billing Errors: Duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, or unauthorized transactions
  • Service Unavailability: Extended outages (more than 72 hours) where the Service was completely unavailable
  • Technical Issues: Significant platform defects that prevent you from using the Service and cannot be resolved

To request a refund for these exceptions, contact us within 14 days of the issue.

4.3 How to Request a Refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund exception:

  1. Email admin@tryonsmart.com
  2. Subject line: "Refund Request - [Your Account Email]"
  3. Include:
    • Your account email address
    • Date of the charge
    • Reason for the refund request
    • Any supporting documentation

We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.

5. Cancellation Policy

5.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time through:

  • Dashboard: Go to Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription
  • Email: Send a cancellation request to admin@tryonsmart.com

5.2 What Happens When You Cancel

  • Immediate Effect: Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • Continued Access: You retain full access to paid features until the end of your billing period
  • No Partial Refunds: We do not provide prorated refunds for the unused portion of your billing period
  • Data Retention: Your products and generated images remain accessible for 30 days after your subscription ends
  • Downgrade to Free: After your paid period ends, your account reverts to the Free tier

5.3 Reactivation

You can reactivate your subscription at any time by:

  • Selecting a plan in Dashboard → Settings → Billing
  • Entering payment information
  • Your new billing cycle starts immediately upon reactivation

6. Plan Changes

6.1 Upgrading

  • Upgrades take effect immediately
  • You will be charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your billing period
  • Your new allocation of resources is available immediately

6.2 Downgrading

  • Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period
  • You retain your current plan's features until then
  • Ensure your usage fits within the new plan's limits before downgrading

7. Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

  1. We will attempt to charge your payment method again after 3 days
  2. You will receive email notifications about the failed payment
  3. After 3 failed attempts over 9 days, your account will be downgraded to the Free tier
  4. Your data will be retained for 30 days to allow you to update payment information

8. Account Termination by Us

If we terminate your account due to violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy:

  • No refund will be provided
  • Access to the Service will be revoked immediately
  • Your data may be deleted without notice

9. Disputes and Chargebacks

Before disputing a charge with your bank or credit card company, please contact us first at admin@tryonsmart.com. We will work with you to resolve any billing issues.

Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of your account
  • Prohibition from creating new accounts
  • Collection of any amounts owed

10. Currency and Taxes

  • All prices are in US Dollars (USD)
  • Prices do not include applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax)
  • You are responsible for any taxes applicable in your jurisdiction
  • Refunds will be issued in the original currency of payment

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email.
